MIUI Taplus VS Recognize Text VS Google Lens - Which one is better and Why?

MIUI Taplus was available from MIUI 11 in China and I am using this feature from MIUI 11 because it is one of the best feature of MIUI ever. Google has Google Lens from long time and MIUI 14 introduced new feature called Recognize text in Global ROM but China ROM has this also from MIUI 12.

In this article, I am going to show you comparison between these 3 features and will tell you which one is best and why. So, lets check out these features now.

1) Taplus-

For turning on Taplus, go to Settings < Special Features < Taplus. After tuning on, change settings according to your comfort.

Press and hold an item with one finger to use Taplus. Go to any app or open any photo, simply hold and you will see an option of text or object, simply click on this to copy text of image and download image.

There are 2 tabs named Text & Objects. You can download image from Objects and copy text from text section. So, it is a Taplus feature, do you like it? Comment now!

2) Recognize Text-

This was introduced in MIUI 14 for Global and India ROM for premium devices. You can use this feature from MIUI Gallery app, simply open it and go to Recognize text to copy text of an Image.

All texts will be appeared in a new window, and from bottom you can copy, save and share this text to anyone.

3) Google Lens-

It is a simple feature which is available from starting in our Android Devices but it is simply fast in analyzing text from an image even it can translate the text from one language to another language.
